How to batch a week of content in one naptime
July 10, 2026
The biggest mistake most mom creators make isn't posting bad content. It's posting inconsistently because creating one post at a time is exhausting.
Batching fixes this. One session, planned ahead, covers the whole week.
Here's the system.
Before the nap starts
Pick your week's themes the night before — not topics, themes. "Honest mom" for Monday, "quick win" for Wednesday, "behind the scenes" for Friday. Three buckets. That's your week.
Have your templates open in Canva on your phone or laptop before the baby goes down. Every minute you spend searching during naptime is a minute you don't have.
The 45-minute session
- Minutes 0-10: Write all three captions. Voice notes work if typing is slower.
- Minutes 10-30: Fill in the templates. Swap your photo, change the text, done.
- Minutes 30-40: Schedule or queue everything. Buffer, Later, or just save to camera roll.
- Minutes 40-45: Pick next week's themes while it's fresh.
That's it. Week done.
The part most people skip
Templates only save time if you have them open. The biggest batching killer is decision fatigue — staring at a blank Canva screen while the clock runs. Start every session with a template already duplicated and ready to edit.
The Naptime Grind Pack was built exactly for this workflow — eight templates, one for each type of content mom creators post most. Duplicate, edit, post. No decisions mid-session.
